ONGOING NUTRITION COACHING/CONSULTING

I'm dedicated to revolutionizing the way individuals approach nutrition and wellness. While working together, you'll become the expert of your own body and improve your relationship with food in a way that is sustainable so you see lasting results. I understand that navigating the ever-evolving world of nutrition can be overwhelming, and that's why I'm here to help. My mission is to empower individuals to take control of their health, regain their energy, and achieve their desired body composition goals through personalized nutrition support and 1:1 coaching.

Each client starts with an initial intake consultation where we go through a compressive health assessment and review of your goals. We then meet in an ongoing fashion, either in person or remote, to offer continued education, implementation of your support plan, course correct along the way and offer ongoing support and accountability. I recognize making impactful lifestyle changes can come with  challenges. I'm there to support you between our sessions as needed with email access to me Monday-Friday for questions and ongoing support.

HAIR TISSUE MINERAL ANALYSIS (HTMA)

A non-invasive way to get a picture of your tissue levels of 36 key minerals and heavy metals impacting your health. Studies confirm that long term exposure to toxic elements/minerals can progressively impair various bodily processes, leading to a variety of health conditions. It differs from blood work in that it shows us how your body is using minerals currently and what is inside the cells vs blood levels that show current levels outside the cells. We typically don’t show low levels of minerals in blood work until there’s been a deficiency for a while.

Why Test Minerals?

● They are the “spark plugs” of the body

● Needed for millions of enzymes as co-factors, facilitators, inhibitors and as a part of the enzymes themselves

● Their availability and usability has a great deal to do with the health of the human body

Systems that mineral testing give us insight into include:

● Hormones

● Metabolism/Thyroid

● Gastrointestinal

● Neurological

● Cardiovascular

What's included:

● Convenient at-home HTMA test

● Personalized test interpretation and comprehensive written report

● Customized protocol based off test results

GI MAP STOOL TESTING

The Gastrointestinal Microbial Assay (GI-MAP) is an innovative clinical tool that measures gastrointestinal microbiota DNA from a single stool sample with state of the art, quantitative polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) technology.

The GI-MAP was designed to detect microbes that may be disturbing normal microbial balance or contributing to illness as well as indicators of digestion, absorption, inflammation, and immune function.

It detect parasites, bacteria, fungi, digestive health, inflammation and more. This test serves as a blueprint into your gut and digestive health.

An unhealthy gut can cause uncomfortable symptoms that are felt beyond the gastrointestinal (GI) tract. In fact, the root cause of brain fog, fatigue, headaches, food sensitivities, and more can often be traced back to the gut.

The GI-MAP offers quantitative results that allow us to create a personalized support plan to address the underlying cause(s) of unwanted symptoms.

Common conditions that warrant testing include:

  • Autoimmune diseases

  • IBS/IBD

  • Digestive complaints, diarrhea or constipation

  • Brain fog

  • Skin problems, like acne and psoriasis

  • Mood disorders, depression, and anxiety

  • Diabetes and weight loss issues

SALIVARY HORMONE TESTING

This type of testing provides valuable insights into hormonal balance, including key hormones like cortisol, testosterone, and estrogen. It offers the benefit of convenience vs traditional blood testing in that you get to take the sample at home. We get to look at sex hormones as well as a 4 point cortisol test to see your cortisol curve throughout the day which can impact energy, mood, sleep, cravings, etc. This type of hormone testing tests for free hormones which are readily available in the body for use vs blood work that tests bound hormones that are not readily available, so it's a more accurate way of testing hormones vs blood.

This test is particularly beneficial for those experiencing symptoms related to hormonal imbalances and prolonged stress and fatigue. Allowing for targeted interventions and a personalized support plan based on the specific physiological profile of the individual.
