ABOUT ME

Hi, I'm Jen Johnston. I'm a Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner, Certified Nutrition Consultant, Root Cause Protocol Consultant and Fitness Enthusiast.

I have a passion for helping others live a full life. One full of energy and without fear of food. I believe nutrition education is at the core in helping us lead a life of empowerment when it comes to our health. Through a personalized approach around nutrition, habits and other lifestyle factors, I help others to live from a place of power and freedom inside of their health, nutrition and their relationship to food/body/self.


I'm a Certified Nutrition Consultant through Bauman College and Level 1 Certified through Precision Nutrition, Functional Nutrition Counselor Certification through the Functional Nutrition Alliance Root Cause Protocol Practitioner through the Root Cause Protocol Institute, where I got to expand my knowledge of just how important minerals are to every process in the body and the importance of iron regulation to decrease inflammation in the body. 

I recently completed my Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Certification to become a Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner and am excited to incorporate functional lab testing into my business! This allows us to test and not guess and create personalized health protocols to you, as an individual, based on symptoms, health history and lab findings. 


Staying up to date on the latest science and continually expanding my knowledge is extremely important to me. 


I've been working with clients for over seven years to improve their body composition, performance, overall health and well being, and their relationship to food. As someone who has experienced a wide range of disordered eating tendencies in the past, I understand the feeling of being controlled by and living in fear of food. I'm here to meet you where you are and help you navigate the confusing world of nutrition and create a lifestyle and nutrition foundation that works for your life, while helping you look and feel your best.
